Reeds Carpets has been proactive in finding cost-effective solutions for their clients to minimise their post event carpet waste, and after three years intensive research, took the lead in opening the world’s first totally in-house post exhibition carpet recycling plant. Reeds process the carpet ready for manufacturing back into the plastics industry, thus saving valuable crude oil and energy. To date this socially responsible strategy has earned the company three prestigious environmental awards.
Reeds Carpets has the capacity to recycle a large proportion of the UK’s exhibition and event carpet. Anyone in the Exhibition and Events Industry can use this process by simply using and recycling any of the products in the EVO-COLLECTION™ range.
